Located on the outskirts of Pullach, just outside the gates of Munich, Castle Schwaneck stands tall. Our youth hostel offers one to six-bed rooms as well as two dormitories. We also have rooms suitable for people with mobility impairments who can move their own wheelchair. The castle, with its over 180-year-old history, exudes a special charm.

From the door and into the fun
Right behind the house, outdoor activities begin: you'll find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, and for those seeking a sporty adventure, there's the nearby climbing center of the German Alpine Club. Cooling off is guaranteed at the Pullach leisure pool or the Isar River. Castle Schwaneck is the ideal starting point for a trip to the Munich foothills or to the center of the Isar metropolis of Munich for a city stroll.

For those looking for something special, our adventure education guest program "Out of Munich" offers options such as climbing adventures, forest experiences, or a city rally through Munich. We provide groups with a truly individual experience and assist in planning your stay.

Play and relaxation in a unique environment
Looking to combine seminars with fun? Our eleven seminar rooms leave nothing to be desired. After work is done, you can enjoy a game of table tennis or football on our play and sports field, or simply relax in one of our hammocks. How about taking a break at Café Schwanthaler with seating in the courtyard? Or maybe exploring nature with all your senses? The Nature Experience Center (Naturerlebniszentrum NEZ) has created a pond and a barefoot trail for that purpose.
