AT THE OSTSEEFJORD OUR HEART IS AT HOME. Looking for a huge area with team activities? Our youth hostel Borgwedel offers 4 hectares of outdoor space with a sunbathing lawn, playground, soccer field, beach volleyball court, and basketball hoop. Want to go for a swim? We have a beautiful swimming area right on the property at the jetty. At the campfire site and in the barbecue hut, you can enjoy wonderful evenings with bread on a stick and a view of the fjord.

YOUR YOUTH HOSTEL consists of a main building and three separate annexes. In addition, we have four 30 sqm heated block houses near the fjord (each with 6 beds) and a house for supervisors (2x2 beds) with a shower house.

CANOE RENTALS Our youth hostel has its own canoes, which we are happy to rent out to you.

YOUR HOST is the sports-loving hostel manager Ole Brief and his team. He will give you the best advice if you want to try sailing, canoeing, cycling, the high ropes course, or any other sports.

CLASS PROGRAM Team training with raft building, archery, canoe rental, bike tours on the Ostseefjord, climbing in the high ropes course Altenhof, Schloss Gottorf, Viking Museum Haithabu with its great interactive program.
