Culture Youth Hostel in a recreation area

The Youth Hostel of the city Bernburg (Saale) is located in a quiet location, in the middle of the recreation area Krumbholz, not far from the river Saale. Only a few minutes walk from the old town, our house with its many sports and leisure facilities provides an ideal starting point to explore the city of Bernburg and its surroundings.

The city of Bernburg

Bernburg, formerly a royal residence, is located on the river banks of the Saale, in the heart of Saxony-Anhalt. The renaissance palace that towers over the city on a sandstone rock is famous. The Saale route is a particularly interesting cycling route that leads through the region. It takes cyclists from the source of the Saale all the way to its estuary into the Elbe.
