Since summer 2011, Berchtesgarden Youth Hostel has been a designer Hostel. Part of the complex, Haus Untersberg, has been fully refurbished, and offers travellers Youth Hostelling at the highest level. An archery course and high ropes course await guests at the Hostel, which is surrounded by the impressive panorama of the Berchtesgarden Alps. When you hear the Watzmann mountain calling, the echo reverberating across Königssee lake, the stags belling - then you know you are on the right track to the region's highlights.
