How about a hike to the scenic summit of Wendelstein with its Geo-Park and panoramic trail? You'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the rugged beauty of the Alps.

The White Wonderland Awaits
When the snow falls, a true winter wonderland awaits. Whether you prefer snowboarding, skiing, or sledding, there's something for everyone here. Head straight to the slopes from our hostel, and our 500-meter-long hill is perfect for sledding. The snow-sure and family-friendly Sudelfeld ski area is just a short walk away. In the village of Bayrischzell, 6 km away, cross-country enthusiasts will find an extensive network of trails.

Driving up to the youth hostel is only permitted for unloading and loading luggage (in winter only possible with four-wheel drive or snow chains)! All vehicles must be parked in the large parking lot directly below the youth hostel (3 minutes' walk). There is no parking directly at the youth hostel.

Luggage transport for groups
We can only provide free luggage transport from the parking lot to the youth hostel for groups with small children up to the age of 8. For groups with older children, we have to charge a small contribution towards expenses per load.
