The new Youth Hostel Bayreuth
"Innovative, inclusive, international – three attributes that give the new building complex of the Youth Hostel Bayreuth a unique flair that is new to Bavaria. With 45 rooms with capacity for 180 guests and modern, inviting public guest areas, the State Association of Bavaria is defining a new quality of stay. You can also look forward to the area around the youth hostel, where a multi-sports pitch and numerous green spaces create thriving oases in the Wagnerian town of Bayreuth, especially in the warm summer months.

The generously designed conference and seminar rooms, equipped with modern conference technology, are ideal for developing new ideas, holding team training sessions, or teaching topics on a school trip outside of everyday school life.
Unique among Bavaria's youth hostels: the inclusive youth hostel
The Youth Hostel Bayreuth is unique in Bavaria, in particular, due to its operational concept. Guests with physical disabilities or learning difficulties will find ideal conditions in the inclusive youth hostel. The building is in large part disabled-friendly, with almost half of the rooms designed to meet the needs ofpeople with disabilities, and the public areas are also comfortable for them to use.

Ideal for sports groups
We are not just a mecca for culture-loving girls and boys though. Sports groups will also get their full money's worth. The next competition is coming up and you still have to prepare? Is your youth team planning an active weekend? Maybe you want to combine concentration with skill – then off to the climbing park in Hof. The Kreuzsteinbad right next to our youth hostel offers a mixture of relaxation and sport. We are happy to help you compile your individual programme.
Relax and take a stroll
Let your imagination run wild in and around Bayreuth. You will find plenty of romantic places not far from our hostel. Stroll through Fantaisie Castle and Park with its Garden Art Museum. Also very popular: the Sanspareil rock garden, Zwernitz Castle and the Ecological-Botanical Garden. Fill up with fresh air in the great outdoors. In the nearby Fichtel Mountains and in Franconian Switzerland, there is much to discover, even for the very littlestnature lovers. Our hostel is an ideal starting point for excursions into the countryside.
