Arriving by public transport
From the main train station Baden-Baden you can reach the Youth Hostel on foot within an hour. It is located 4.5 km away from the main station. The fastest way to the Youth Hostel is with the bus 201 (direction Oberbeuren or Lichtentalstraße). From there cross the Rheinstraße and follow the "Große Dollenstraße" up the hill to the crossing. There turn left to the Hardbergstraße. Follow the street until you see an advertising column on the right hand side. Take the stairs to the Gaisbühlstraße behind that column. Follow the street up the hill and you will reach automatically the Hardbergstraße again. Follow this street and you can´t miss the Youth Hostel. It will take you ten minutes on foot.
Rail service for DJH members
The Community Travel GmbH offers DJH members discounted RIT tickets for a return journey within Germany - this applies only in conjunction with stays in a hostel. School classes and groups can make use of this offer. You must carry confirmation of your booking with you when travelling.

Tickets will be sent by post or online by e-mail. In the event of a cancellation, the ticket may be returned free of charge to the agency up to the first day of travel.
Arriving by bus/car
You can reach us via motorway Basel - Karlsruhe (A5) Take exit Baden-Baden and follow the slip road to Baden-Baden. Take the second exit in the roundabout after 3,5 km and follow the "Europastraße" (B500) for ca. 2 km. After the sign marking the start of Baden-Baden (at the Ebertplatz) get in lane to turn left before the traffic lights. Follow the street for another 50 metres and then turn left. Then get in the right lane. Follow the street on the right hand side (on way). You are now in the "Rheinstraße". On your right hand side you see a church (Bernhardus-church). Turn right after the church in the "Große Dollenstraße" (at the corner there is a Biergarten). Follow the street up to the crossing. Turn left into the "Hardbergstraße". The Youth Hostel is located directly next to the Hardbergbad (Freibad).

Parking slots
You will find parking slots at the "Hardbergbad-Parkplatz". During bathing season a parking fee will be charged from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
