Historic castle ambience
- Above the "Leiningerland" and overlooking the valley and town lies the modern Altleiningen Castle Family Youth Hostel, with its historical feel and open-air pool in the castle moat. Altleiningen is situated in the magnificent "Leiningerland", an offshoot of the Palatinate Forest, at the beginning of Germany's Wine Route.
- Altleiningen Youth Hostel has 169 beds in rooms with 1, 2 and 4 beds. Each room is equipped with an en-suite shower/WC.
- Dining room in the Rittersaal (Knights' Hall), bistro "castle tavern" with café-bar and summer terrace, snack area, children's play area.
- 5 common rooms and function rooms of varying sizes for 18 to 60 people, congress hall for up to 160 people that is fully equipped for events, conferences, workshops, project days and music camps.
