Our Youth Hostel is in a prime location in the UNESCO TERRA.vita Geopark, in the heart of the Alfsee recreation area and surrounded by plenty of exciting tourist attractions. Are you keen on (water) sports? Then enjoy the paradise that awaits you on our doorstep! Whether you're a water baby, captain of a rubber dinghy or a wakeboarder, you will be spoilt for choice here. And you'll also find loads of great places in and around the main house, the seminar building and our bungalow village: For musicians and conference delegates, for streetball player and archers, and for meeting up for a barbecue and cosy campfire!
Since July 2012, Alfsee Youth Hostel now has even more space for families, conference participants, choirs and orchestras, with two four-bed rooms and a guesthouse with six family rooms as well as a spacious seminar building available during your stay. The area between our comfortable bungalows forms something of a village square - a fantastic place to meet up and play or just have a natter! And in between the main house, the bungalow village and the seminar building, you'll find lots of grassy areas where you can run around or just relax under the trees.
