Small and very cosy

Cosy Albersdorf Youth Hostel nestles between the trees. Light years away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. A few kilometres further on, the North Sea-Baltic Canal winds its way across Schleswig-Holstein. It provides large ships with a shortcut between the two seas. No wonder that hikers and cyclists are excited by this route and the route along the canal is one of the top cycling and walking trails in Schleswig-Holstein. AÖZA, the reconstructed Stone Age village, is well worth a visit. And the nearby high ropes course with its tree-top path and cable car will get your adrenaline going.

Albersdorf is a real treat for fans of big ships - they can accompany them for a short way on the hiking and biking trails along the North Sea-Baltic Canal. Right next door, there's the heated swimming pool with a giant slide 77 m long. The reconstructed Stone Age village is worth a visit. Here visitors can do some flint knapping, archery and explore reconstructed Stone Age houses. The North Sea is only about 30 km away from Albersdorf and offers mudflat walks, boat trips and the sea.
