Location
The convenient location of the hostel gives you a huge choice of leisure activities: our hostel is situated in the Barmen district very close to city centre of Wuppertal, and at the same time at the foot of a large woodland area and nature reserve. From here it is only a short distance – even on foot – to museums, cinemas and a lot of other big city attractions. Busses and the (suspension) railway give our guests almost unlimited mobility to explore the numerous facets of the Bergisches Land around the hostel.

Arrival by rail
To Wuppertal-Barmen, from there take bus no. 640 in the direction of Ronsdorf to the "Jugendherberge" stop. Next public transport facilities

Arrival by coach or car
A46 to Wuppertal-Barmen exit, straight on first downhill to Alter Markt, then back uphill again (Fischertal). Turn right at end of road. You will find the YH parking lot after some 200 metes on your right. A1 to Wuppertal-Ronsdorf exit, take B51 towards Wuppertal, after 1 km keep in the left lane before the lights and turn left in the direction of Ronsdorf, Cronenberg, Elberfeld (do not go straight on here in the direction of Barmen!). After some 3 km turn in front of the water tower or the Hornbach DIY respectively in the direction of Wuppertal-Barmen. Follow the main road, after some 3 km you will see the hostel after passing the „Futterplatz“ restaurant on the left.
