Leisure activities around the hostel
Due to its attractive location near the Rhine, right in the Siebengebirge Nature Reserve, Bad Honnef is an ideal base for excursions on foot, by boat or rail. A few minutes’ walk takes our guests from the conference hostel to the Rhine and the historic town centre of Bad Honnef with its nice pubs and restaurants and a large number of museums. The neighbouring cities of Bonn, Cologne and Koblenz as well as Linz and Königswinter are also within quick and easy reach.

The open space around the hostel offers our guests plenty of room for a large variety of leisure activities.

What makes us special
In Bad Honnef school groups are offered a large variety and number of imaginative programmes with educational support: here you can produce video clips, set up dance or theatre productions, get rid of frustration and emotional stress or quite simply celebrate fun kitchen parties – nutritional value included – in the hostel’s special programme kitchen. With its location right on the Rhine, ist historic town centre, the Rhine islands and its green surroundings Bad Honnef is a perfect place for leisurely strolls and relaxation. A large number of museums and historic sights provide interesting insights into the remote and recent history of the region. Another popular pastime are boat trips to the Drachenfels or to Bonn.
