Age restriction in Bavarian Youth Hostels
Youth hostels are primarily intended for young people. For this reason, individuals over the age of 27 can only be accommodated in Bavarian youth hostels on an availability basis.
This age restriction does not apply to group leaders or families accompanied by at least one minor.
A surcharge on the quoted price is charged to guests older than 27.
Families
Family membership required.
Families staying at the youth hostel with at least one minor are charged the junior price. No charge is made for children less than six years of age in family groups.
Local tax
Schliersee Youth Hostel is required to charge a local tax on behalf of the community of Schliersee. The local tax 2008 is € 0.80/1.60 per person and night.
Dorms without shower/WC
Single or double occupancy is subject to a surcharge of € 8 per night and dorm.
Dorms with shower/WC
Single or double occupancy is subject to a surcharge of € 12 per night and dorm.
Free places
Bavarian youth hostels offer two free places per school class of 22 students or more staying at least four nights and at full board (i.e. only 20 guests are charged for).
