People with walking disabilities/in wheelchairs
Newly-built or renovated youth hostels take the specific requirements of people with walking disabilities or persons in wheelchairs into consideration as far as structurally possible. Possenhofen Youth Hostel, for example, is suitable for wheelchair users.

While wheelchair users are welcome at Possenhofen Youth Hostel, please note that as a youth hostel we are unable to fully meet stringent German standards regarding the adaptation of premises for wheelchair users; nor is the hostel suitable for groups of wheelchair users.

Nevertheless, we can offer the following:
  • Two rooms adapted for the needs of the disabled and equipped with an en-suite shower/toilet. The rooms concerned are of a size suitable for wheelchair users.
  • A toilet adapted to the needs of the disabled on the ground floor
  • A dining room accessible for wheelchair users; the same applies to the day rooms
  • An elevator to the upper storey
