The youth hostel is located in Strub, a hillside district on the outskirts of the market community of Berchtesgaden, and offers impressive views of the Watzmann massif. It is made up of various buildings situated in large, park-like grounds with stands of magnificent old trees.

Leave the A8 Munich - Salzburg autobahn at the Bad Reichenhall exit. Continue on B20 to Berchtesgaden.
