Location & Directions

Bad Honnef is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Siebengebirge mountains and in the Rhineland towns of Bonn, Cologne and Koblenz. The hostel was renovated in 2005 and offers exciting new offers relating to music, dance and drama. Curious gourmets can cook in the teaching kitchen and then dine together afterwards.

Arriving by public transport

Travel as far as Bad Honnef station, walk to the youth hostel: about 20 minutes.



From Bonn Hbf (main station):

take the 66 tram to the "Rhöndorf Bf" stop, change to the 566 bus and get off at "Sankt Martinskapelle" (only up to 8 p.m.) or walk.

Arriving by bus or car

Via the A3:

take the A3 as far as the Bad Honnef/Linz exit, in Bad Honnef turn left into Beueler Straße in line with the sign, at the end turn left twice.



Via the A59/B42:

take the A59 motorway until Bad Honnef/Asbach, after the exit, turn left and at the traffic lights turn left again into Linzerstraße. Turn into the 2nd street on the right (Mühlheimer Str).Go to the end and turn right twice into Beueler Straße, at the end turn left twice.



Via the A555:

take the A555 to Bonn, at the Bonn-Nord junction travel towards Siegburg (over the Rheinbrücke [bridge]), at the Bonn-Beuel junction turn off towards Königswinter/Bad Honnef, continue as with the A59/B42.

Parking facilities

There are parking spaces for cars and buses at the hostel.

Arriving by bike

The hostel has a covered space where you can safely store your bikes.
