November kicks off with live music in four German youth hostels. The Swiss indie rock band 77 Bombay Street has organised in collaboration with Hostelling International a tour of European youth hostels to present their new album "Seven Mountains". The first concert will take place on 2nd November at the Hamburg youth hostel "Auf dem Stintfang". 77 Bombay Street will start its acoustic set at 8.30 p.m. in the "Backpackers Bar". Before the band sets of on its tour across Europe, there will be performances in the hostels in Bremen, Cologne and Stuttgart. For guests, the quartet will play for free. The concert demonstrates: youth hostels are suitable not only for the intensive rehearsals of choirs, orchestras and bands.
77 Bombay Street is made up of the four brothers Matt, Joe, Esra and Simri-Ramon Buchli, who brought out their debut album "Up in the Sky" in 2011 and reached directly platinum status. With the second album, "Oko Town" the following year they stormed to the top of the Swiss charts. In September 2015, the Bombays brought out their third album. "Seven Mountains" is self-confident and varied, compiled of rock sounds as well as gentle and relaxed tones. For the first time the band has ventured into new genres and also stands out with Funk, Classical and acoustic sound, enriched with stringed and wind instruments.
